Friday night after dinner I wanted a little something to snack on while I watched TV, so I whipped up some baked chick peas, which were amazing ... and I ate half of them that night!
The recipe is incredibly simple:
1. Drain and rinse a can of chick peas.
2. Spread chick peas in one layer on a baking sheet (I use aluminum foil so there isn't even any clean up)
3. Season how you like ... or don't season (plain chick peas taste good too!) I used a generous amount of Old Bay.
4. Bake until they are desired crispness. I like mine still semi-soft, which takes about twenty minutes. Half way through baking, shake pan back and forth a bit to toss chick peas around.
5. Enjoy! Nom nom.
